I had such fun with Mistletoe Madness. The publisher was looking for more boy stories and I figured as a mother of two young boys (at the time), I should be able to come up with something a boy would like. I wrote Lost! based on the thought my husband shared: "If you want to write for boys, write about a boy and his dog."

Lost! became a part of Mistletoe Madness and eventually became the basis for One Eyed Jack.
